Leah's ad-FRENCH-ure

Once upon a time this blog was dedicated to the Hamilton life abroad.  Kyle and I lived in Metz, France for 13 months right after getting married.  What took us to Europe?  Kyle had the opportunity to complete his Georgia Tech master's degree in electrical engineering at the institute's campus in Lorraine as well as earn a master's degree in physics, photonics, and plasmas from the French grande école, Supélec.  I received a position working as an English teacher in two elementary schools in the messin neighborhoods of Grange-aux-bois and Marly.  We had a wonderful time living in the dorms, depending on public transportation and bicycles, making friends from all over the world, exploring Europe together, learning how to live and work in France, and developing our French language skills.  If you'd like to read more about our travels, please scroll down the sidebar to find the "Labels" and click "ad-FRENCH-ure" for all those entries.
