On this blog you'll find my musings primarily on the Bible and family life. It's a mix of what I'm studying and testimony about my Christian faith. Some Bible teachers and thinkers I enjoy are Charles Colson, Dietrich
Bonhoeffer, C.S. Lewis, George MacDonald, James Boice, and
Michael Youssef.
I have previously done studies by the Amazing Collection; it's a macro approach to the Bible with an emphasis on the 66 books being one complete story about God. I am currently involved in Bible Study Fellowship which examines one area of the Bible through the course of one school year. My writing doesn't represent Big Dream Ministries, BSF International, or my home church. I included this bit about me so you know some of what informs my writing.
Spending time in the Bible isn't just a hobby or intellectual exercise for me. It's a real relationship with God. My faith shapes who I am as I daily trust Christ in all things. Studying God's word renews my worldview and keeps my focus on His plans. If what I share on this blog is encouraging at all to you, praise be to God!

Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

Leah, just wanted to tell you that you're an excellent writer-there's tons of nuance and skill in the way you communicate. I imagine someday you'll have a large audience; if not, I would at least say you're capable of it.
You never know, when you're in high school, what you will become or what your friends will become. Glad to see how well you've done. Blessings to you and Kyle.
